As a digital artist that creates surrealism scenes, I know that my landscapes are not based on the world that you are familiar with and are different from the usual landscape art. I use graphic software to create art instead of paint and brushes. I look at the natural world around me and ask “What can I combine to create a completely new landscape or scene? What story do I want to tell?”
I take images that do not belong in the same scene and blend them into something entirely different. You may wonder, “How does she do this?” My digital art is created using software tools found in graphic programs. However, I do not ignore time-honored art methods. I use traditional collage, painting, and mixed media techniques along with this modern medium. However, I do not use AI to create any part of my surrealism scenes. I wanted to create a surrealism landscape with a sense of mystery. I made a "copper" tree instead of a realistic tree. Why did I call this Wolfin Lake? Because there really is a wolf in the lake, of course!

This is a "planet" I created out of an ocean scene. I use my own planets in my space art. Vintage image of a traveler inspired this surrealism landscape of a traveler entering a portal to another universe. "Metal Verse" colors came from an image I took of rusted metal.
