Art and A New Year

Happy New Year! Welcome to my world of  unique digital art.
When I create art, I start with an inspiration. It could be anything from a photo of an old barn, clouds, a sunset/sunrise, or a vintage pocket watch. Then, I build a story around my inspiration. Even though my art is not realistic, like a traditional landscape artist, I try to bring multiple objects together to create a piece of art that not only tells a story, but blends seamlessly together. I love to open the door to your imagination through my art.  My latest inspiration is…. cherries! These are some of the images that sparked my imagination. After I find my inspiration, I begin looking for other objects to add. Everything must blend together to create something new and unique. A hot air balloon combined with cherry blossoms and leaves becomes a cherry balloon!  I create art by having a story to tell. That this story is set in a world that does not exist is the doorway to opening your imagination and seeing familiar objects in a totally different way.
