The sun is out and there are only wisps of clouds in the sky. It is actually warm enough to go out in short sleeves! My flowers are blooming in my front yard. Not saying a thing about my back yard except I’ve been pulling buckets of weeds this year. I think new ones just pop up overnight. Sometimes I feel I can hear those weeds snickering at me. However, I am not going to give up. Armed with white vinegar, tools, and gloves, I am going out to tackle and overcome those rapidly multiplying weeds. I will not grow discouraged and I will not give up.
There is a lesson to be learned from my garden that I can apply to my digital collage art. Yes, there are a lot of “weeds” right now. Obstacles are multiplying as rapidly as those pesky weeds. Galleries are still closed, meetings still canceled, connections not made. I have a choice. I can give up and be overcome by those art weeds, or I can go on. Grab my tools, which in my case, is my computer and software and go on creating digital collage art. I have some new art up in my store now and a wider variety of offerings. That is a start. Maybe I will even give you a peek at my new art. It has cats, clocks and a key. I fell in love with those cute cats and decided to create a piece of art just for them.
These are some photos I took of my tiny front yard garden. So nice to see a pop of color in the spring.
